Experience
Clinical responsibilities including a
busy practice see over 4000 patient per
year and perform nearly 450 surgeries,
this includes complex oncological
surgeries like radical prostatectomy,
radical cystectomy and orthotopic neo
bladder, RPLND and locally advanced
renal cancer along with advanced
endourology. Teaching undergraduate and
postgraduates (urology residency
trainee). Administrative responsibility
as a head of Urology, chair Ethics
review committee and various
departmental and university wide
committees.
Prof. M Hammad Ather lead team of 8
consultant urologist, 10 residents and 4
interns. He trained over 30 residents,
24 residents under his direct
supervision over the past 20 years.
Edited 4 books and written over 10 book
chapters in international publishers
like Springer, Intech, NOVA, Cambridge
scholar etc. Over 140 publications.
